This morning at the faculty meeting we had a competitive game of West Family Feud where the West End Girls took on the West Wing to win big in the fast money 💰 round! A huge thank you to Mrs. Crammer, Mrs. Eshleman and Mr. Gantz for putting this together for our staff to celebrate rule #10 of the Energy 🚌 Bus: Have fun and enjoy the ride!! 2nd, 3rd and 4th graders are great team players! Students participated in a “Floor is Lava” game where they had to work together to collect all of their teams colored pieces without touching the floor! Some students even got to complete this challenge blindfolded after completing the challenge once! #WeAreWeiser

Yesterday our third and fourth grade students began taking the PSSAs. In order to get us started off on the right foot our K-2 students came up to the B-wing to celebrate and cheer on our third and fourth graders before they began testing! #WeAreWeiser.

Aliana, Piper and Penelope all traded in their PBIS Tickets 🎟️ to help out in the kitchen. This continues to be a VERY popular prize for our students! Excellent work girls 💙 🤍

On Thursday night, West held our first-ever STEAM Expo Family Night in conjunction with our West PTO Book Fair 📚 We had a LEGO building contest, and activities centered around Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math. The families that attended had a great time, and our staff enjoyed putting together such a meaningful event! Last Week our 4th Grade Students were able to visit the HS Ag Department with a Farm to School Grant. They could try vegetables and fruits and see agriculture classrooms and the barn.
