Kirsten Bryant is a research scientist and Assistant Professor of Pharmacology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine. The Bryant lab performs research that is focused on pancreatic cancer biology and developing improved treatments for pancreatic cancer patients.

Bradley Lamm is a 1992 graduate of Conrad Weiser High School and a 1996 graduate of Moravian College, in Bethlehem PA. He graduated with a dual degree in Computer Science and Biology. He went on to attend Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia where he earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine Degree. Dr. Lamm attended his surgical residency at Western Pennsylvania Hospital in Pittsburgh. He then completed 3 unique fellowships in Clubfoot, Orthopedic Trauma (AO), and Limb Lengthening and Deformity Correction.

Donald R. (Luke) Rentschler has had two career paths that at times overlapped. At his 1968 graduation from Penn State, he was commissioned – via the NROTC program – as an Ensign in the U.S. Navy. He subsequently became a Naval Flight Officer/electronic warfare specialist and was stationed at NAS Atsugi, Japan for three years. During this period, he flew aerial surveillance missions in the western Pacific and combat support missions from DaNang airbase. After this overseas tour, he was assigned to the NROTC Unit at North Carolina Central University where he taught celestial navigation. In September 1975 he resigned his active-duty commission, joined the Naval Reserve, and pursued a Ph.D. at Duke University on a full-time basis.

The Distinguished Alumni Program seeks to recognize Conrad Weiser graduates who have proved through their lifetime achievements to be a source of pride for the Conrad Weiser community, as well as a source of inspiration to its students.
