Starting with CW almost 33 years ago felt like ”coming home”, and almost like working with a family.” Laura Sloyer: “As a graduate of Conrad Weiser, I’m thrilled to be living my dream as a special education teacher at West. I feel incredibly fortunate to work alongside an amazing 4th-grade team and collaborate with dedicated special education colleagues who inspire and challenge me every day. It is so rewarding to witness my students achieve their goals and celebrate their successes with them.” Maggie Schearer: “There’s ALWAYS something new and something CHALLENGING in the world of Transportation, but it’s an honor to be part of a team that strives to keep things running smoothly. They say teaching is a calling and I am so happy that I picked up and answered the call from Conrad Weiser over 23 years ago. The students at Weiser have become part of my life. I think about them, care about them and worry about them. And once the school year ends and students graduate, I do not just stop. They have left an eternal mark in my life. Being a Weiser scout has been the best way to spend my career and life.” Phleane Kissling: “I love working at Weiser because we have WONDERFUL kids. The Conrad Weiser community has a strong sense of family, who look out for each other and help each other whenever they can. Our school board, administration and fellow teachers are very supportive and encourage teachers to continually try new things.”
