Walk for Weiser was a Success! Everyone had a blast today! Thank you to our CW East PTO for organizing, planning, and preparing everything for this event. Thank you Western Berks Fire Department and South Heidelberg Township Police for being at East to support us all day. We are so grateful for all of the parents and grandparents that took off work to volunteer, without your support this event would not be possible.

Walk for Weiser is Tomorrow! Please remember to send your children in sneakers and warm, comfortable clothing. All students should bring a light jacket or long sleeve shirt for under their Walk for Weiser shirt. We cannot wait for all the fun we have in store for tomorrow! Visitors & Volunteers please remember to sign in at the tent outside the main office. Looks like they are forecasting beautiful weather!

Thank you to our Western Berks Firefighters, Denise Klahr and Nevin Klahr, Deputy Chief, for teaching all of our students about fire safety. Students were so excited to spend time with our local firefighters.

Thank you Officer Doelp for letting me ride along with you this morning. It was so much fun sharing popsicles with the kids we saw in our community! We appreciate the time and effort that South Heidelberg Police puts into supporting and developing trust with our Conrad Weiser students, staff, and administration. Mrs. Rhoads

Thank you families for a great first week of school! It was so exciting to be back with our students. We saw lots of smiles, laughs, high fives, and hugs. New and old friendships. Thank you for your patience during dismissal. We continue to ask for grace during dismissal as we take our time making sure our kindergarten students develop routines. Looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow morning. Please be reminded that this is a 4 day week. School is closed this Friday, September 2nd.

Congratulations to Mrs. Dowd our new 4th Grade Teacher! This year we have added an additional class to our 4th grade. We have 5 total 4th Grade classes at East. Mrs. Dowd was just board approved this past Wednesday, August 10th. If your child is in 4th Grade and you noticed in Skyward that their teacher is listed as To Be Determined, Mrs. Dowd will be their teacher. She is so excited to meet her students this Thursday evening from 4-6pm

It was so much fun to spend time with our incoming kindergarten students today, during our Passport to Kindergarten event! Thank you to all the of our teachers, staff, PTO volunteers, and South Heidelberg Township Police for working together to make this event a success.
