The United Way sponsored Ready, Set, Read! Program kicked off on Tuesday, October 17. We have some wonderful tutors who volunteer their time each week to read with some of our West students. Mrs. Griffith’s 1st grade class got to carve a pumpkin 🎃 today! They made predictions about how many seeds were in the pumpkin and then worked together to count the seeds by tens. 3rd Grade Science 🧪 🧫 In this investigation we tested and observed how water 💦 interacts with different surfaces. We tested writing paper, 📝 wax paper, aluminum foil, and paper towels. We observed the water absorb in some surfaces and bead up on others. #WeAreWeiser #We💙science #LearningIsFun
